Starting with a builder slab

New-construction garages usually have a hard, smooth trowel finish. It looks fine, but a coating rolled over it has nothing to hold onto. We diamond grind the whole floor to a rough profile and vacuum up the dust as we go.

Building the floor

  • Fill cracks along control joints and around the garage door threshold.
  • Roll a penetrating primer.
  • Add a color coat, with or without chip broadcast.
  • Seal with a clear wear coat.

Living with an epoxy floor

Inland Empire summers mean hot tires rolling in from the freeway. Cheap coatings soften and lift under that heat, known as hot tire pickup. A ground and primed system holds on. Spills from the car, the grill or the pool chemicals wipe right off.

Pricing factors

Garage size, the number of cracks, old coatings, and the topcoat choice all affect price. You get one written number with everything included.

How long is the install?

Most two-car garages take two days. You can drive on it in about a week.

Do you move my stuff?

We ask that the garage be cleared before we arrive.

Three-car garages and storage

Many Eastvale homes have a tandem or third bay used for storage, bikes or a golf cart. We can coat all bays at once or start with the main two. Wall-mounted storage makes moving things out and back in quicker.
