How it is made
We pour a clear epoxy mixed with metallic powder over a tinted base. Then we move the material while it is wet to make swirls and veins. Light catches the pigment, so the floor seems to have depth.
Good spaces for metallic
- Garages turned into a gym, office or entertainment room
- Showrooms and studios
- Salons and boutiques
Things to know
Metallic floors show scratches more than flake does. We usually finish them with a tough clear coat, and for a sunny space a UV-stable polyaspartic top.
Can I choose the colors?
Yes. We make a sample board with your colors before the pour.
How many days does it take?
Plan on two to three days.
Choosing a look
Popular combinations include silver and charcoal for a modern feel, copper and black for warmth, and blues and whites for a cool, airy look. We pick colors that work with your room's lighting and furnishings. Every pour is unique, so we show you photos and samples first.
Care
Use a dust mop and mild cleaner. Felt pads under furniture prevent scratches.
